The dates for the Blackpool Fireworks 2024 World Championship have been announced.

Fireworks displays will take place on Saturday 7th September, Saturday 21st September and saturday 5th October and remember the world famous Blackpool Illuminations are in their full glory for the whole of September, October and right up until the new year.

The Blackpool Fireworks 2024 Competition displays are famous for ground breaking, breathtaking displays attracting the top pyrotechnics experts from around the world and this year will be no exception with fierce competition for the accolades on the final Saturday evening. Fireworks displays are loved by all the family, young and not so young alike, bring along the whole family for an exhilarating evening of stunning audio visual entertainment.

The fireworks are launched from North Pier, which is closed to the public for the duration, and the best viewing point is Tower Festival Headland with the Irish sea providing an awesome backdrop to the best fireworks displays that I have seen. There is plenty of room for all, but large crowds can be expected when the weather is good so arriving early may be a good bet.

For the 2024 season the displays will run during September and October 2024, the Blackpool lights 2024 will be in full swing for the whole period and the weather can be very mild at times, I have attended in short sleeved shirts, but it is England and the weather can also be a little cooler so be prepared for any event, in the event of severe weather the evening may be called off or postponed, check before attending if the weather is uncertain.
